RIO+20 IS WHERE OUR FUTURE IS DISCUSSED.
Road to Rio+20 aims to motivate, inspire, engage and support young people to take action on issues of sustainable development and influence the outcomes of Rio+20, the UN Conference on Sustainable Development.
These meetings have been going on longer then 3 billion youth have lived for!

GET INVOLVED. GET ACTIVE.
GET ON THE ROAD TO RIO+20
The project is aggregating, amplifying, giving visibility and support to the initiatives that various youth and youth-led communities, groups and organizations are taking on issues of sustainable development, with a link to Rio+20.
This website is the main platform where those initiatives are presented and united through the common thread of taking action towards Rio+20.

Youth aren't new to getting involved with issues of social, economic and environmental justice. With nearly half of the world's population under the age of 25, this is a fact that cannot be ignored as together our voice is stronger.
Just watch the impact 12 year old Severn Cullis-Suzuk made at the Earth Summit back in 1992.
With those kind of premises in mind, it is clear for all organizations involved with issues of youth and sustainable development that there is strong need to take action, in order to exert that pressure and to come to Rio not just with demands, but with something to show for, something that will tell world leaders
"this is how we're doing our part, now help us do more and commit to do your part as well".
We invite you to join us in that journey, either by taking action, or becoming a partner of our coalition. Strength is in the numbers, so share our work with your friends, colleagues and tell them about the incredible threats our generation is facing and about the great opportunity we have to tackle them.
